Owolana gears up for new challenge

Damilola Owolana is no stranger to the football industry, having started his career at a very young age in the U.K. He then made a move to Nigeria where he played for a feeders academy for the Nigerian premier and national league from the age of 11 right up to 16.

He then moved back to England after a discussion with his family to embark on a journey of becoming Pro and ended up playing for a few notable youth clubs in the non league. Damilola starting attracting the eyes of higher clubs and even attended trials for Borehamwood fc pass scheme and Tottenham Hotspur’s college team where he made a good impression.

After a good season with Long Buckby FC (England) he eventually made a move to play for Clapton FC under an ex pro as his manager. He eventually made a move to Cockfosters FC and scored on his debut further with Bedfont & Feltham. He got a transfer to Virginia Water FC in Summer of 2018 after which he made a switch to Uxbridge FC. Damilola eventually earned trials with pro teams with Tarxien rainbows fc (Malta) and Sweqiqi untied fc (Malta) and Kalara fc (Malta)

He is presently looking for a move abroad. He feels ready to take the new challenge in his career.
