Nwankwo: My runs and goals are similar to Ronaldo’s

Silas Nwankwo of Nasarawa United believes he plays similarly to Cristiano Ronaldo, and he has revealed that Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba are the players with whom he would most like to team up in the future.

The red-hot offensive phenom, who was born on December 12, 2003, presently sits atop the Nigerian Professional Football League’s goalscoring charts, having scored a total of 16 goals so far this season.

As the prodigious striker is only in the early phases of his professional career, he believes that sharing a locker room with the England and France internationals would be an excellent addition to his footballing bucket list.

In addition, Nwankwo is a real Manchester United follower, and he claims that he aspires to emulate the attributes of a Red Devils icon who has won the Ballon d’Or on five separate occasions, Cristiano Ronaldo.
When you look at some of my goals and runs, as well as other stuff, you can see that they are almost identical to Cristiano Ronaldo’s, the 18-year-old explained to Goal.
“I make every effort to be  like him as much as possible.
I believe that after reading his stories about his journey to greatness, you will agree with me that they are sufficiently motivating to inspire any footballer who aspires to greatness.
“He (Ronaldo) is also one of the reasons why I have supported and continue to support Manchester United, and God willing, I hope to play for the Red Devils at some point in the future.
“Moreover, my greatest ambition is to play at Old Trafford alongside [Marcus] Rashford and [Paul] Pogba.”
As things stand, Bala Nikyu’s men are now in second place in the Nigerian elite division log, and they have a realistic chance of winning the league title if their closest rivals Akwa United and Kano Pillars fail to win their final two games of the season.
