Shooting Stars will make the people of Ibadan proud: Chairman Ibadan FA

The Ibadan Football Association chairman, Rotimi Alli, has restated the pride he has in the Shooting Stars Soccer club after the boys put on a good showing in their most recent matches. He stated this in an interview he had with Eldeporte correspondents where he expressly stated the successes he has had and a few of his challenges since he got in charge of the helm of football affairs in the City of Ibadan.

Rotimi Alli, who has been super efficient in the discharge of his duties reeled out a few of his achievements after he had been asked to enumerate a few of them

“When I took over, we started from Ground zero” said Rotimi Alli.

“However, now we have resuscitated the IFA (Ibadan Football Association) League. We also have a cup competition, the Olubadan Cup and we have renovated the hostels for hosting Away teams”.

While he expressly restated that the FA is not directly in charge of the administration of the 3SC, he says that the FA is meant to supervise them and they have done their best to do that. A few of what they have done is to involve them in the IFA league and even fix fixtures to fit into the 3SC schedule.

The 3SC are back in the top tier of Nigerian Club football and the Chairman has refused to mince words about the confidence that he has in the boys. In his word “they will make everyone proud.

Other areas that he reassures that the Ibadan people will see notable progress are football competitions across various age grades and even for Women. He confidently assures that there will be an Under 15 Male football competition early next year
